Just weeks ago, actor George Clooney headlined a record-breaking fundraiser for President Joe Biden's reelection campaign. Today, he's calling for the nation's leader to exit the presidential race. In a published Wednesday, Clooney wrote of his love for the president in his position now, as the former vice president, a former senator and as his friend.

But despite the "lifelong Democrat" still saying "I believe in him," he doesn't believe the president can win in November. "In the last four years, he's won many of the battles he's faced. But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time," Clooney wrote.



"It's devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe 'big F-ing deal' Biden of 2010. He wasn't even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.
