A GENERAL Hospital alum has announced his return to the show, and fans are freaking out. Jonathan Jackson revealed he would be making his way back to Port Charles, New York, as fan-favorite character Lucky Spencer soon. Jonathan announced the news of his big return to General Hospital on X , formerly Twitter.

"I'm returning to General Hospital this summer! "Excited for the journey to continue," he wrote. The soap star also shared a video explaining his feelings on his big return. He said, "I'm super excited and I can't wait to dig in and see what's going on in Port Charles.



"Just wanted to say thank you to all of the fans over the years. Your persistence and love has certainly played a part in all of this." Jonathan talked about his excitement to see all of the cast and thanked the producers for bringing him back.

In the comment section, fans shared their excitement. "Amazing news," one fan exclaimed. "It's been too long.

" "This is INCREDIBLE news! I can't wait to see you back in Port Charles; it'll be wonderful to see you on TV again," stated another. A third said, "Welcome back!"
