"It's very difficult at the moment to have an Israeli film accepted by festivals abroad," says Israeli film producer Marek Rozenbaum. "There are festivals that say up front, 'It doesn't interest us right now.' Not long ago, one festival told me, 'What would happen if, in the middle of a screening, four people who bought tickets stood up in the hall and start messing things up? What would we do in such a case?' So there's undoubtedly a problem.

What do they need protests and an unruly audience for? They're concerned. And it's not at all related to the content of the film – it's that it comes from Israel. That's enough.
