The popularity of superheroes in Fortnite cannot be understated. In each Creative or battle royale match you jump into, you’re bound to see a gun-toting superhero leaping, sliding, and building 360s at some point. And with Marvel and DC continually releasing a steady stream of new films and TV shows, that’s unlikely to stop anytime soon, especially with the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie coming out at the tail end of 2024.
Although Epic Games hasn’t yet confirmed a possible Fortnite x Deadpool and Wolverine crossover, a new image featuring the upcoming film’s actors suggests otherwise. As spotted by Fortnite insider , Trymacs, a Fortnite content creator, recently shared a photo of him posing with Deadpool and Wolverine cast members Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman after winning a $50 Trio Cash Cup. Of course, this may just be Reynolds’ and Jackman’s way of winding down during a lengthy marketing campaign for their film (no matter how unlikely that may be).
However, since at the beginning of the year, the actors’ seemingly innocent pit stop to win a minor competition with a Fortnite content creator is more than likely part of Disney’s partnership with the video game publisher. Like always, though, you’ll need to take this information with a grain of salt since Epic has yet to confirm a potential Deadpool and Wolverine crossov.
