We’ve ranked them based on taste Chick-fil-A introduces new sandwich and milkshake to menu for summer Haracz settled the argument, saying: “When anyone talks about the McDonald’s burgers never going bad, that is false.” There have been claims that too many preservatives make McDonald’s burgers last forever.

The company has assured customers , however, that there are no preservatives in the meat. The former chef explained that in those cases, the food’s longevity is caused by a combination of “mold inhibitors” inserted in the food and a dry environment. The burger and bun will mold just like any other food when kept in a moist environment.

When it seems a McDonald’s burger lasts forever without molding, it’s because the food has dehydrated. McDonald’s chefs cook the meat well done, so it’s already drier with less raw protein. Don't miss.
