THE Harry Potter franchise has expanded itself to the world of baking. Food Network fans are ecstatic that the network is creating a show based on the movies . Harry Potter : Wizards of Baking was announced at the Warner Bros, Discovery Upfronts this week.

According to a press release, the series "will celebrate the global phenomenon like never before, through elevated and innovative cake creations." Kathleen Finch, the Chairman and CEO of US Networks said in a statement, "Holidays are always big at Food Network, and with over 60 hours of holiday programming coming in 2024, and with Harry Potter’s global legions of fans, Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking is certain to entertain and delight the 60M P2+ viewers who come to celebrate the season." The competition will take place at Warner Bros.



Studios Leavesden in Watford, England , where the films were shot. The bakers will be able to explore the sets including The Great Hall at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and Platform 93⁄4, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, and The Burrow. The pastry chefs will create items inspired by the themes and scenes from Harry Potter.

Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking does not have a release date as of yet, but will air later this year. The news was also posted to Food Network's Instagram page. "The holidays just got a lot more magical because Harry Potter #WizardsOfBaking is coming to @foodnetwork & @streamonmax!" they captioned it.
