The highly anticipated trailer for the upcoming film, Captain America: Brave New World, has been released. This trailer showcases Sam Wilson (played by Anthony Mackie) making his film debut as Captain America. In previous Marvel , played Steve Rogers, the original Captain America.
But due to events in Avengers: Endgame, Steve had to go back in time to save the world and the film ended with an elderly Steve giving the iconic shield to Sam. In the Disney+ miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Sam made his first official appearance as Captain America. In this first-look trailer, President Thaddeus Ross (played by Harrison Ford) tells Sam that he wants to make Captain America a permanent position in the US military.
Sam seems to not agree with this and eventually later the president becomes a target of an attempted assassination that Sam is able to stop. The trailer also showed Sam flying through the sky as he fights off enemies. At the end of the trailer, fans get a glimpse of Red Hulk, who Thaddeus will eventually turn into after some unknown events.
Fans are excited yet unsure after watching the action-packed trailer. One Reddit user wrote: "Cautiously optimistic for this one. One thing I've learned from Marvel Studios is that they know how to a trailer, and it ends up better than the actual film.
