FAMILY Feud has twisted an answer to a Fourth of July-themed prompt and left fans in total shock. The Family Feud Instagram account shared a clip from its Fourth of July episode, which featured a question centered around the holiday's most famous foods. Host Steve Harvey , 67, asked contestants, "The Fourth of July has become a holiday where people gather to see who can eat the most what?" Without hesitation, player Pam rang the buzzer and answered with "hot dogs.

" The answer flipped the number one spot, however, the game show switched up the lingo. "Plump wieners," the board revealed in its place. A slow-motion, zoomed-in shot of the phrase followed shortly after, to which the show added fireworks graphics and an accompaniment of the Star-Spangled Banner .

After the shocking moment was uploaded on social media, fans flooded the comments with their thoughts on Family Feud's choice of words. "Wait that wasn't apart of the script!!!" one person joked. "PLUMP WEINERS???????" asked a second.

"That’s very descriptive," a third noted, while a fourth added, "That’s oddly specific." "Plump weiners??? Ok cleary you tell me your pg when your not pg," another said, calling out the show's raunchy content. "Freaky Feud," someone else joked.

The long-running game show, which Steve has hosted since 2010, has recently been criticized for not being "family-friendly." Contestants were even prompted with a sex-based question earlier this week, where they were asked a place they've made love.
