Former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa is returning to her reality TV roots with a new docuseries. Variety announced the news in July 2024, revealing that JoJo, 21, will reunite with Dance Moms creator Jeff Collins for the series that will follow both her professional and personal life. JoJo reacted to the news on Instagram, teasing that fans were in for a wild ride: "Here's your seatbelt. Buckle up". The series will give an in-depth look into JoJo's creative process as she "charts her course as an adult pop star", according to production company Resilient Content.
"JoJo will reveal what it's like to be one of the world's most famous 20-year-olds running various businesses, fulfilling a recording deal, and living by herself for the first time," it said. Storylines will follow both JoJo and those in her inner circle. Although known for her boisterous persona, the series also promises to offer a glimpse into who JoJo is in quiet moments away from the limelight.
JoJo Siwa first rose to fame as a child on Dance Moms spin-off Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition before joining the original series in 2015 and by the 2020s was appearing on reality shows such as The Masked Singer and Dancing With The Stars .
