CORONATION Street fans have hit out at the show once again as they lambasted the programme for airing stories with "no impact". Viewers have been critical about the story decisions and have argued that it is failing to be an accurate representation of Northern life. Some fans have now even begun to brand the soap "meaningless" and have been heavily critical over its recent writing. It caused one Coronation Street superfan to go on an almighty outburst about the show.



Furiously hitting out, the fan said online: "EVERYTHING is MEANINGLESS. "Stories and events lead nowhere and have little to no impact on any of the characters. "All is quickly and conveniently forgotten before the next big crisis or issue comes crashing in, seemingly out of nowhere before existing plots/sub plots are resolved to any extent.

"They can throw endless stories at any one character, but as you said, nothing ever moves forward, they may as well be frozen in time as there's usually zero character develop.
