HUGE Netflix series have come to an end in recent years like Sex Education and Orange Is The New Black. Other shows such as I Am Not Okay With This and The Order have also been given the axe by the global streaming giant. However, it seems that Netflix is commissioning brand new instalments of a string of huge shows in a bid to boost content.

This maybe an effort to win back fans and retain subscribers after a fall last year following price hikes . We break down some of the most popular shows that have been saved by the streaming giant. Survival of the Thickest will be given a second series by Netflix.



The comedy-drama series was created by Michelle Buteau and Danielle Sanchez-Witzel, based off the former's biography of the same name. The first series dropped in July 2023 and the streamer announced in February the following year that a follow-up was given the green light.
