Ellie Goulding has been spotted out for dinner with estranged husband Caspar Jopling the day after returning from Costa Rica where she spent time with her new boyfriend. The Starry Eyed hitmaker, 37, was seen looking relaxed and cheerful as she shared a meal with her ex before they were seen sharing a warm embrace in the street, then taking a stroll in London last Saturday. Ellie and art dealer Caspar, 32, were married for four years, but announced they would be going their separate ways in February, after photos of Ellie cosying up with her surfer beau emerged.
They share three-year-old son Arthur, who they are now 'successfully co-parenting' after their split was made public. The Love Me Like You Do singer explained that she had split from Caspar "some time ago", but said they were still friends for their son.
In the statement, she wrote: "In light of recent stories, I feel I have been left with no choice but to let you all know that Casper and I privately separated some time ago. We remain the closest of friends and have been successfully co-parenting with our sons best interests at heart." Caspar updated his followers too, say.
