Ellen Degeneres is going back to where it all began. From June through August, the whimsical, clean comic turned headline-making ’90s sitcom actor turned Pixar star turned beloved yet controversial daytime talk show host turned ( maybe whimsical and clean ) comic is touring all over the United States as part of her farewell ‘Last Stand..
.Up Tour.’ Originally, Degeneres only announced four shows; on May 29, she extended the nationwide run.
The 66-year-old comedian now has 27 gigs lined up this summer. That includes a set at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall on Thursday, Aug. 1.
The run comes to an end with back-to-back shows on Aug. 16-17 where she’ll tape her new Netflix special at Minneapolis, MN’s Orpheum Theatre . And if you want to be there to see Degeneres flex her stand-up muscles for the first time since 2018, now’s the time to pounce.
As of today, fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming shows on sites like Vivid Seats ; the official on-sale is Friday, May 31. Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand. They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to buy tickets can be found here. Even though Degeneres started performing stand-up in the early ’80s, she’s only officially released three stand-up specials. Here’s how you can see them.
