The Flashbang is no more A new update to Elden Ring has finally fixed a problem that’s been annoying fans since the game first launched. Elden Ring expansion Shadow Of The Erdtree releases today (June 21) and to get the game ready, FromSoftware shared a new 1.12 update yesterday – check out the full patch notes here .

As well as introducing a number of new hairstyles, expanded summoning capabilities and a range of inventory features, the update has also fixed an annoying issue known as the Flashbang. When booting up the game, the Bandai Namco logo appears on the screen. However, the white background would often take players by surprise, especially because it was sandwiched between the black backgrounds of FromSoftware and Elden Ring.



The Flashbang and has been a source of ire for Elden Ring fans for months now. The new update has changed the white background to a black one, and fans are stoked. "Our eyes be saved, new startup logo" One flash bang is better than TWO flashbangs! #EldenRing #EldenRingDLC pic.

The new update also allows players to summon the Torrent mount during the final boss battle..
