Eamonn Holmes is reportedly being considered by producers for the next series of Celebrity Big Brother , with it teased that there could be a six-figure offer for him. It's claimed that the TV presenter, 64, is being "courted" by producers of the show, which was revived by ITV earlier this year, to appear in the Big Brother house for around £250,000. It comes just weeks after the news that Eamonn has now separated from his wife , Ruth Langsford , 64.
Celebrity Big Brother returned in March for its first series in more than five years. The housemates included the likes of Louis Walsh and Fern Britton . It's now been suggested that Eamonn is being eyed up for the next series of the show.
A source told the Sun that bookers for the reality TV show are "drawing up a wish list" of housemates, adding that GB News presenter Eamonn is on it. They added that those behind Celebrity Big Brother would "love" for him to take part and suspect that he would be a "popular" housemate. The source also made reference to Eamonn speaking about his health issues, including back problems, in recent years, with the presenter said to still be having mobility issues and experiencing pain .
They said: "Eamonn's health concerns are something they would take into account and, when they package up an offer, they would make assurances to him that he would be looked after in the house." It was further commented that the offer would be a "meaty" six-figure sum of around £250,000 to "try and tempt him in". T.
