Australian reality TV personality Cameron Merchant has recounted a harrowing health ordeal during his Bali getaway. The Married At First Sight Australia celeb took to Instagram to share his battle with 'Bali belly', describing the past day as "rough". The 40-year-old had flown out to the tropical paradise for a mate's wedding but was struck down by severe stomach pains in the wee hours.

In an Instagram Story, he wrote: "Bali belly strikes. Turn of events, up from 2:30am in a world of hurt and depleted of everything within me." Cameron disclosed he ended up on a drip after vomiting for an entire day.



He didn't hold back in detailing his discomfort, listing the unpleasant symptoms he endured. He continued: "Well this is fun..

" Thankfully, the following day saw improvement in his condition. Cameron posted a picture of himself enjoying a simple meal of banana and buttered toast beside a pool, his first food intake after fasting for 36 hours, reports OK! . "First meal in over 36 hours.
