Dua Lipa has issued a terse three-word response to accusations that she was lip-synching during her headline set at Glastonbury Festival on Friday night. The 28-year-old pop star threw everything at her stint on the Pyramid Stage from slick choreographed dance-moves to special guests and dazzling pyrotechnics. However, there have been some who took to social media to accuse the Grammy Award-winner of miming, to which she had a defiant response.

The singer spoke out while enjoying the atmosphere backstage at the festival where she told The Mail on Sunday simply: "I don't mime." While making her first headline appearance at Glastonbury, Dua told the crowd: "I can’t believe this, I’ve dreamed about this my whole life. " While many celebrated the pop star's performance, which delighted fans at the festival, there were some who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to vent their feelings over Dua's singing. Some were adamant that she was lip-synching to the tracks, with one person hitting out in a post, writing: "Dua Lipa is 100% miming #Glastonbury". Another was upset about Dua's vocals, posting: ",What a shame #Glastonbury has a headline act on that’s obviously miming her vocals", while another questioned: "Is she actually miming? #Glastonbury.

" This accusation was countered by many fans, who hit out at those knocking Dua's singing. One wrote in her defence:.
