Dream Home’s Brad and Mel embarked on a race against the clock ahead of the first “tools down” alert of this season of the Channel 7 renovating series. Just hours before the couples had to hand over their rooms to the judging panel, the couple’s bathroom was considerably behind schedule. Each of the six couples in the competition was tasked to renovate a room in another couple’s house, travelling around the country and renovating six different houses.

Early on, Mel and Brad decided to split the bathroom and add a powder room, causing a significant delay. The decision meant that by the 24-hour mark, they were majorly behind.
