TLC stars Deon Derrico and Marian “GG” Derrcio are both on the mend. The Doubling Down With the Derricos cast members each ended up in the hospital recently but are now doing OK, Deon shared in a social media update. Deon and GG Derrico were both in the ER As Doubling Down With the Derricos fans know, GG has been battling cancer for the past few years.
So, when her son Deon took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of someone holding GG’s arm in the hospital, people were understandably alarmed. Fortunately, Deon’s news was mostly positive. “This past week has been a doozie to say the least.
.. today both GG, and I were literally in emergency at the same time!! We are both okay now!!” he wrote.
“GG’s potassium was very low and she was dehydrated,” he added. “They are keeping her in the hospital for further observations but she’s talking smack and getting on my case which is always a great sign!” Some of Deon’s followers shared that they were upset when his photo came across their feed. “Maaaan you can’t post stuff like that,” one wrote.
