If you were a Disney fan growing up in the naughties, you'll remember the hype around the hit film series High School Musical. The three movies, which were released between 2006 and 2008, follows the story about two high school juniors from rival cliques – Troy Bolton ( Zac Efron ), captain of the basketball team , and Gabriella Montez ( Vanessa Hudgens ), a shy and smart transfer student who excels in maths and science. In the first movie, which was seen by over 225 million viewers, they appear to divide the school with their decision to try out for the school musical as it goes against the "status quo".

Sharpay Evans ( Ashley Tisdale ), the high school drama diva, continues with her antics in the second movie about the students getting summer jobs at a country club where her and Ryan's ( Lucas Grabeel ) family are members.
