Blizzard has finally given us a preview of what we can expect once it releases Diablo 4 Season 5 in August. Typical fresh content and meta changes abound, but the most exciting addition is the new roguelike mode, Infernal Hordes. Like Hades or Slay the Spire, once you finish a wave, it’ll present you with three Boons and Banes called Infernal Offers that’ll modify your run for better.

So, without further ado, let’s get into the nitty-gritty of the Diablo 4 Season 5 release date. Blizzard will likely release Diablo 4 Season 5 on August 6, 2024. Even though the dev team hasn’t confirmed its actual launch, it’ll most likely take place on the aforementioned date that Season 4 ends, which you’ll also be able to see on the game’s character select screen.
Adam Fletcher, community lead for Diablo, also revealed in a that Season 5 will be slightly shorter than previous ones (only running until the ), so it should take place sooner rather than later. Diablo 4 Season 5 will, in all likelihood, go live at 10 AM PT / 6 PM GMT, similar to past seasons.
