Deadpool & Wolverine is one of the most anticipated films of the superhero genre in 2024. The film will mark a first of many including Deadpool's MCU debut, as well as Marvel's first R-rated film. The X-Men, MCU collaboration also has fans more than excited for the return of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.
With only weeks to go, the makers seem confident that the film will break previous records and bring back MCU's glory days. In the last couple of years, the MCU film including Doctor Strange 2, The Marvels and more have been suffering from low box office collection and mixed fans/critics reactions. However, Deadpool & Wolverine is most likely expected to pass $ 1 Billion at the Worldwide box office very easily.
Deadpool & Wolverine is already breaking records before its release. The film's first trailer broke the record for the most views for a movie trailer within 24 hours with 365 total million views. The record was previously held by Spider-Man: No Way Home.
As much as the concept of the film will back its box office collection there is another reason for the film's big prediction. Unlike previous Deadpool films, the third installment will see a China release, which will be a first for the franchise. According to Deadline, early ticket sales of the film is expected to cross $200-$239 million domestically in the first weekend.
The predictions of international ticket sales haven't been made official yet. The the odds of Deadpool & Wolverine crossing $1 Billion early on are prett.
