It’s the older styles of music that get the edge this week in the Connecticut arts scene. The Hartford Symphony Orchestra is holding its last Masterworks concert of the season. The Connecticut Sea Music Festival brings shanties and more to Essex, and Connecticut Virtuosi and guest artists are telling the history of Brazil with music and dance.
