AN interior designer has revealed the little-known tricks for creating a luxurious ambiance on a budget. She said homeowners don’t have to spend a “fortune” to create the space of their dreams. Melissa Denham is an interior design expert at the UK-based company Hammonds Fitted Furniture .

Speaking to The U.S. Sun, she shared several tips for revamping living spaces.



Denham said bedrooms are a “safe haven” that should feel comfortable and luxurious. She recommended upgrading the space starting with dressing the bed accordingly. “You can use decorative pillows and arrange these in descending order, starting with your sleeping pillows against the headboard and the smaller, feature pillows at the front,” she said.
