Coronation Street: Lauren's final moments 'revealed' Coronation Street fans believe they’ve worked out an unexpected family connection in the cobbles. It comes after ITV viewers saw newcomer Kit Green (played by Jacob Roberts) deciding to plant evidence against Nathan Curtis (Chris Harper). Initially, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) was adamant about seeing Nathan arrested for Lauren Bolton’s (Ciat Fitton) murder after he started tormenting her daughter Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) again.
Although she was going to put some of Lauren’s hair in the back of his van, which would be found by the police, she quickly decided against it. However, copper Kit spotted her in action and questioned what she was doing. Confessing her plan, Sarah explained she didn’t put anything in the van in the end, and Kit let her leave the scene.
However, later on, the police did find traces of Lauren’s hair in the van with Sarah quickly telling Kit it had nothing to do with her. With no explanation of the evidence discovered, Nathan was arrested with his lawyer Joel Deering (Calum Lill) sitting in on the police questioning. As the former criminal remained adamant he had no idea how the hair had got there, he pointed the finger at Sarah, knowing her hatred for him.
