While Joel is the new villain of Coronation Street, thankfully actor Calum Lill who plays him leads a much calmer, happier life off-screen. Taking to his Instagram on Sunday, the actor revealed he had proposed to longterm girlfriend Roberta. Sharing a snap of them happily posing together in the countryside, Roberta showed off the diamond ring Joel had presented her.
He captioned the post: "About time I made an honest woman of her. "Celebrated with drinks in the hot tub but Roberta thought it would be funny to remove my swimming shorts from the suitcase. "Thanks @dolly_rose_campbell for lending me your spare cossie.
I think I rocked it tbf." The second snap showed him in a black one-piece, while Roberta laughed beside him while wrapped in a towel and wearing a happ.
