Dismissing the negative propaganda of opposition on farmers’ loan waiver, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu said the Congress government would prove them wrong by implementing Rs 2 lakh loan waiver. The Opposition earlier too said the Cong government would not deposit Rythu Bandhu amount. The State government deposited Rs 7,500 crore at one go in farmers’ bank accounts, he recalled while participating in several development works related to drinking water and roads in Kothagudem on Thursday.

Later addressing a local meeting, he said despite several problems, the Congress government would implement loan waiver for farmers well before August and no one could prevent this. The State government announced that loan waiver for farmers would be implemented in August. On Rythu Bharosa, he said public opinion would be gathered on who should be the beneficiaries, how to distribute the amount and then guidelines would be formulated and tabled in the Assembly for a discussion.



A legislation would be passed and Rythu Bharosa would be implemented for the benefit of farmers. The Congress government would be accountable for public money and would not let it be misused. The leaders, who ruled the State for 10 years had looted the treasury and distributed funds indiscriminately.

They burdened the State with Rs 7 lakh crore and fled, he criticised. In Indiramma Rajyam, the government would be careful in raising every rupee and spend the funds meaningfully. Bhatti exuded confiden.
