At Computex 2024 in Taipei, Taiwan, computer hardware manufacturer MSI unveiled its upcoming laptops featuring the latest processors for AI PCs: Intel’s Lunar Lake and AMD’s Strix Point chips. The main advantage of these processors is their ability to support next-gen AI features, such as Microsoft’s recently announced CoPilot+ . Not only business and productivity laptops, but also content creation and gaming laptops from MSI will include these latest processors.

In the gaming section, MSI introduced the Stealth A16 AI+, which it calls the world’s first 17-inch lightweight gaming laptop powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processors. AMD’s XDNA 2 architecture promises “up to three times the performance compared to previous products, enabling generative AI or large language models to run directly on the laptop.” The laptop will also feature Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards.



Additionally, the Stealth A16 AI+ will have a “lightweight magnesium-aluminum alloy body, powerful Cooler Boost 5 cooling, and a wealth of ports.” A laptop aimed at content creation, the Creator A17 AI+, will have somewhat similar specs and body but focus on content creation. Also announced are upgraded Stealth 18 and Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport co-branded laptops, which launched last year.
