SB: Cyndi Lauper blows out candles on birthday cake Sunday Brunch cut the lights just minutes into today's episode (June 23) as the set plunged into darkness for a special reason. Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer were back at the helm of the magazine programme . As always the Channel 4 show featured interviews with celebrities, cooking segments and live music in the studio.
Today's guests were Steve Toussaint, Jill Halfpenny, Cyndi Lauper, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Steve Stamp and Allan Mustafa, with live music from the Mary Wallopers. " A fanfare sound played in the studio as the TV host carried the cake over to the iconic singer. He said: "You don't have to eat it now but Happy Birthday!"
