Carpenter and dad Adam Collier-Woods wowed viewers in series two when he transformed an old bus into holiday accommodation. Sadly, the bus was destroyed in a fire, but now Adam’s back with his latest renovation.
“The bus was one of the best projects I’ve seen, then tragedy struck,” says George, 50. “And Adam has an illness that makes him suffer really badly from fatigue, so imagine juggling the financial ruin of losing the bus, trying to fill in insurance claims and raising the money to do his next project.” In episode one, we see Adam start to make a holiday let out of four shipping containers.
“I’ve seen him go through unbelievably tough times but he’s so positive and has so much drive,” George continues. “He created a fantastic build and we both got quite emotional. He’s someone I really care about.
