Channel 4 's The Supervet: Noel Fitzpatrick is a staple for fans, so it was a sad evening when Noel confirmed on Thursday, July 11, that this would be the final instalment of the series. In a challenging episode, Noel tackled a major surgery on a Caucasian shepherd dog named Odin. The dog was suffering from a severe condition where his misshapen vertebrae put intense pressure on his spinal cord.

Upon discussing with the owner, Noel levelled that Odin's condition, causing pain and hindering nerve signals to his back legs, was "as bad as it gets". After a hefty dog attacked Monty, he required a complex total hip replacement.



Few vets could carry out such intricate procedures at miniature scales. When the first attempt failed, courageous Noel led Monty back into surgery once again, reports the Express . Meanwhile, husky-cross Maya received a prosthetic limb after surviving a train strike against incredible odds.

Nevertheless, this emotionally testing episode signified the end of the series. Through X, formerly Twitter , Noel shared a warm farewell while expressing gratitude for the viewers' support. His grateful message read: "Final episode of Series 19 of #Supervet on tonight on @Channel4 at 8pm.
