The returning ITV comedy Changing Ends features some familiar faces from across British TV. The ITV series, which is written by Alan Carr and Simon Carlyle, focuses on the comedian’s life growing up in Northampton in the 1980s particularly Alan's relationship with his dad and football manager Graham Carr. The show follows how Alan and Graham's relationship grows and develops as Graham accepts that although Alan may never be interested in football, he is full of talent.

Oliver Savell will return as young Alan, Shaun Dooley will play his dad Graham Carr, Nancy Sullivan as Christine Carr and Taylor Fay will portray his younger brother Gary Carr. Alan Carr will of course return as himself to provide some narration and his trademark quips. The second season picks up shortly after the first, as young Alan faces impending puberty and feels sidelined by his family .
