The 63-year-old star has revealed she is unwell, admitting that “everything aches”. Taking to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter , she shared the important update with her 980,000 followers.
Carol penned: “Morning lovelies. “Woke to feeling quite a bit poorly today so not going to make it to London for my @lbc show. Had some cracking subjects for you too.
” (sic) Luckily her colleague, This Morning star Vanessa Feltz , will be stepping in to take the 3-6pm slot. Carol continued: “Vanessa will be sitting in for me today. I'll be back next Sunday.
Sorry xx. “Everything aches (Can I blame the Tories ?)” she then cheekily added with a winking emoji. Carol has been vocal about her contempt for the Conservative Party in the past, actively campaigning for Labour to replace them in the upcoming general election.
