Michael, 67, who is known for presenting Trust Me I’m a Doctor, was last seen by friends on Wednesday , 5 June, before he went for a walk to the centre of the Greek island of Symi. A body, which has yet to be formally identified, was found beneath a fence that runs around a bar on Agia Marina beach on Sunday, 9 June.

Speaking to Sky News, local cameraman Antonios looked tearful as he revealed how he discovered a body in the search for Michael. As he opened up about the search, Antonios explained how he’d been on a boat at sea when he saw “something black” that was “outside of the fence at the end of the beach”. However, he revealed that he “wasn’t sure” what it was, so took a photo of the camera screen to zoom in further.



“We took a photo of the screen with an iPhone, we zoomed it in and you can clearly see that it’s a man lying down with his hand on his belly,” he explained. “The description is exactly the guy we’re looki.
