Bruce Willis ' daughter has given a rare update on her father's health as he battles frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Rumer Willis, 35, revealed her 69-year-old dad is in good spirits, telling the Today Show simply: "He's so good." She added that he's wonderful grandfather to her infant daughter Louetta, enjoys music, and spends quality time with his family.

Aphasia — difficulty speaking and putting thoughts into words — is the first symptom and Willis has been struggling with this for two years. The average life expectancy is around eight to 10 years after being diagnosed and about 80 percent of FTD patients who experienced behavioral changes are deceased by eight years.
