A survey of 2,035 adults revealed a whopping 91% reckon nailing morning routines like getting the kids to school on time and braving the commute are real 'victories'. Other triumphs include making the bed, finding matching socks, and even just brushing their teeth. The study was carried out by Emmi CAFFE LATTE, who've joined forces with telly fave Adam Thomas to give London's commuters a pat on the back for their AM achievements.

Commuters were treated to a finish line complete with confetti cannons, medals, flowers, and a cheering crowd after their 'morning marathon' of tasks. This comes as the poll discovered that 36% of grown-ups tick off 13 chores before 9am on an average day. Yet, only 35% of those surveyed actually celebrate these small wins.

Meanwhile, 26% confessed they find it tough to crack a smile in the early hours. Waterloo Road's very own Adam Thomas, now dubbed 'Head Daymaker' by the chilled coffee company, said: "Our research shows that more than a third of Brits say they need a pick-me-up most before 9:05am, which is why I'm delighted I was able to give them exactly that! ". "I see myself as a positive, family man and often share content on my social channels to make people smile.

So making someone else's day is the ultimate pick-me-up and I can't think of a better way to put a smile on someone's face than with their very own marathon-worthy finish line." Other small victories include remembering to take out the rubbish and managing to get through the morning.
