A Britain's Got Talent star's mum has revealed how she hasn't been able to watch her daughter perform. Donna Richards, who is mum to ten-year-old Olivia, has shared what the backstage experience on the ITV talent show is like. Olivia is part of the 134 children making up choir AmaSing on the 2023 series of Britain's Got Talent .
They sailed through the audition process thanks to four yesses from the judges and made it to the semi-finals on Friday night. However, it hasn't been easy getting the kids to and from London for the shows. AmaSing hail from Cheshire and North Wales and are made up of children from 30 different schools.
Olivia was selected to be part of the group and mum Donna has been supporting her throughout the journey. They headed to Manchester for the audition, but sadly Donna was unable to get backstage with the group. She told The Mirror : "I personally didn't go, being a teacher and obviously having a DBS, I've been asked to be a body to to make sure that we've got a really high ratio of adults to children.
In terms of the Manchester audition, there were the minimum number of people that went with them who were staff dominating." However, Olivia loved the backstage experience as she explained: "It was brilliant. Like that feeling of apprehension and excitement.
It was just like knowing what was about to come but then also not knowing what was gonna happen. Excitement, kind of a bit of nervousness. All those mixed emotions.
" Brightening face cream that gives '.
