The singer's mugshot showed him looking straight at the camera with no expression on his face but his eyes were glossy and very blue. Justin was reportedly hanging out with friends in the American Hotel when he left around 12:30 A.M.
and got in his car. He was reportedly driving to his residence before being pulled over. Sources in law enforcement told that the Sexyback singer was "glassy-eyed" and the police smelled alcohol on his breath.
He also apparently failed the field sobriety test where he was unable to walk and turn and balance on one leg. Justin's friends allegedly arrived at the scene and tried to persuade the cops to let Justin go, but they wouldn't budge. The singer was handcuffed and arrested before being taken into custody.
The Suffolk County District Attorney issued a statement Tuesday morning that read: "On June 18, 2024, Justin Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor for Driving While Intoxicated. He will be arraigned in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court this morning. At this time, we have no further comment.
