Blue Lock Season 2 Release Date Set for Soccer Anime Series By is now gearing up for a second season, with a release date already set for the hit sports anime series’ return. Based on the popular manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, the anime series follows young football players from across Japan as they join an intense training program in order to help them strike victory. The release date announcement comes after debuted back in April, with its US theatrical debut scheduled for June 28 release.

It will consist of 14 episodes, airing on Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. on IMAnimation in Japan.
All previous episodes are available to watch on . An English localization and release have not been announced. In addition to the release date, new characters will be joining to stand in Kiyoshi and the Blue Lock members’ way.
