Fiend and colleague of Michael Mosley reveals touching anecdote The BBC will air a special tribute dedicated to TV Doctor Michael Mosley following his tragic death in Symi, Greece . The 67-year-old tragically “died from heat exhaustion” while walking across the island to his wife in 40C heat. Following intense search and rescue efforts, his body was discovered on Sunday in a cave surrounded by a rocky area near Agia Marina beach.
The presenter had previously filmed a three-part series, Wonders of the Human Body, which looks at how our bodies work and change during the ageing process. However, after his death, the show has been put on hold by Channel 5 and will hit the screens after the tribute which will air on BBC One at 8 pm on Friday, 16. While police were searching for him, photos emerged of Michael and his wife Dr Clare Bailey filming on a beach in Wales on May 10. At the time, the person who took the photos said that the camera crew had explained they were filming a TV show that would air in September. After training as a doctor and then venturing into television, he presented different science programmes including the series Trust Me, I'm A Doctor and made appearan.
