Chris Packham makes 'innuendo' on Springwatch Chris Packham left viewers saying the same thing as he made an innuendo just minutes into Springwatch. The BBC programme returned on Wednesday (June 5) as Chris and co-host Michaela Strachan presented live from ARNE Nature Reserve in Dorset. Opening the episode, the TV duo discussed when the robins and Dartford warblers, shown in the previous episode, would leave their nest.

Guessing which day they would go, Michaela revealed Chris predicted today, while she said Thursday. Looking at the footage of the birds from the last 24 hours, Michaela confirmed that all three chicks left the nest, meaning Chris was the winner. The 58-year-old quipped: "I'm delighted they fledged.



I'm not so delighted that you won that bet," as she turned to her co-star. Not letting Chris get ahead of himself, Michaela reminded him that they still needed to look at the robins. Watching the footage, Michaela and Chris discovered they were both wrong as the chicks left their nest today.
