The boys, who are the youngest pair to ever win the show, sprinted across a sandy white beach in Lombok in an intense final push before discovering they were first to sign into the guest book, claiming the £20,000 prize.
It was a nail biting final with mother and daughter duo, Eugenie and Isabel, coming in just eight minutes behind their rivals. They were followed by brother and sister, Betty and James who came in the following day, 24 hours and 34 minutes behind the winners. Husband and wife, Stephen and Viv, came in fourth, 30 hours and 20 minutes behind the boys.
Alfie, 20, and Owen, 21, who maintained a determined mindset throughout the entirety of the 15,000km race across Eastern Asia, screamed “We’ve done it!” and hugged each other in celebration after their big win.
