THE BBC will honour Dr Michael Mosley in huge tribute to the television personality following his tragic death. Programmes across both television and radio will honour the late television personality, who died aged 67 in tragic circumstances. Last month, Michael previously went missing on the Greek Island of Symi, after he went for a walk alone along a coastal path in searing heat.

A major search operation was launched before barman Ilias Tsavaris, 38, found the body of the British presenter on rocky ground. It was just a 30 minute walk from where Dr Mosley was last seen and close to a dangerous cave complex known to locals as "The Abyss". For five days, he seemingly disappeared without a trace , prompting a major search operation involving helicopters, divers, firefighters, dogs, and drones .



Now, Michael is to be honoured across multiple BBC schedules on a special dedicated day. In his memory, the corporation will put on the 'Just One Thing Day', named after Michael's popular Radio 4 podcast. The audio show saw the health expert reveal his special tips to improve the health of listeners.

He was renowned for his simple, quick, and scientifically proven tricks to help his audience make a lasting change to their lives. On the programme, he usually tested out one thing himself as he asked for participation and feedback from his loyal fans and followers. On July 12, BBC Radio 4's Today will kick off the extensive tribute as they invite guests onto the programme whose lives were .
