It comes following the heartbreaking loss of Dave Myers , who Si, 57, co-hosted the BBC programme with, after he died following his battle with cancer earlier in February. Si is uncertain of his future career now, but has firmly told fans that the cherished name of the Hairy Bikers will cease to continue in Myers' absence. In a moving interview reported by the Daily Star with The Observer Magazine, Si expressed: "It can't be the Hairy Bikers 2.
