Things are not looking good for Reiss Colwell but, according to EastEnders viewers, they look set to be deadly for one character. Walford icon Bianca Jackson portrayed by Patsy Palmer has been nothing short of critical of Sonia Fowler's beau and has been pointing out his discrepancies since she first returned to Albert Square, convinced her sister deserved better, particularly as she was expecting their first baby. In a devastating twist, Sonia (played by Natalie Cassidy ) recently found out she was never actually pregnant but the setback wasn't enough to stop her from thinking about another round of IVF.
On Monday (June 10, 2024), the beloved nurse urged Reiss ( Jonny Freeman ) to gather up the funds necessary, which left him in a tricky position as Sonia had no clue her other half stole the money they'd used for their first IVF journey from his comatose wife, Debbie without her consent. A desperate Reiss moved heaven and earth to get the money necessary to keep Sonia happy and sought out Jay Brown ( Jamie Borthwick ) to sell him a car, which turned out to be faulty. In another attempt to get the IVF money ready, Reiss then reached out to Kat Slater ( Jessie Wallace ), making out to her she'd forgotten to pay him for a previous job - but she quickly rumbled what he'd been up to.
Frustrated, Jay and Kat complained about Reiss in The Vic, in front of a dismayed Bianca who was set on finding out what he was really up to. Bianca was led straight to the hospital, where she spotte.
