Countryfile: Charlotte talks about badger culling BBC Countryfile viewers all said the same thing as they tuned in to watch the nature and farming programme on Sunday night. Adam Henson and Charlotte Smith explored the Camel Trail in north Cornwall, which runs 18 miles connecting the fishing town of Padstow with the wild moorland of Bodmin. They also encountered the wildlife of this diverse habitat and the people that live and work along its route.

Charlotte also visited the National Lobster Hatchery and investigated the latest plans to tackle TB in cattle in England and Wales. However, one segment that sparked uproar among viewers was when Charlotte discussed badger culling. Many angry viewers took to X to issue the same complaint: "I see #Countryfile is editorialising for killing badgers again uck biodiversity the minute it inconveniences farmers, eh lads?" (sic) "@BBCCountryfile glad to see you’re covering TB but you shouldn’t allow the Badger Trust or Welsh govt to misrepresent TB stats, badger trust suggesting cleanliness is the issue & badgers aren’t is quite ridiculous," another fumed.

A third agreed: "Once again @BBCCountryfile are getting their facts wrong in connection with #bTB and badgers. There is no evidence that badger culling has ever worked to curb the disease. Farmers have consistently and wrongly argued this point.

Culling is being done to appease farmers." (sic) READ MORE Countryfile's Adam Henson's wife 'got complacent' in marriage before cancer [LA.
