Clive Myrie opened up on his decision (Image: Getty Images) BBC presenter Clive Myrie explained the decision behind why he and his wife Catherine chose not to have children. The 59 year old, famous for hosting Mastermind, married Catherine, an upholsterer and furniture restorer, after meeting in 1992. While they've shared more than two decades of marital bliss, they never introduced any offspring into their lives.
Ahead of appearing in his new series "Clive Myrie's Caribbean Adventure" which will see him discuss his family connections, he shed light on this personal choice. Though his perilous job involves global travel and could have impeded family plans, Clive clarified: "It wasn't the danger of the job, just the travelling." He added: "We felt it would be selfish on children to drag them around the world.
We've come from big families. I'm from a family of seven (children), Catherine's from a family of five kids." function loadOvpScript(){let el=document.
