Breakfast: Naga Munchetty announces the wrong time BBC Breakfast star Naga Munchetty experienced an on-air mishap as she made an awkward slip whilst attempting to read the time. The blunder occured on Saturday morning (June 8) and she was left rather red-faced. After the weather segment came to a close, Naga turned to viewers and said: "Twenty minutes past time.
" She then realised her mistake and closed her eyes before laughing. Turning to her co-star Charlie Stayt , she exclaimed: "Do you hear what I just said?" Charlie replied: "Well, it is twenty minutes past time in a way, isn't it? It's a little inprecise though." Naga brushed off the blunder and said: "Shall I start again? Twenty minutes past eight is the time.
" They then moved onto a new news segment about cats being chipped. During Thursday's edition of BBC Breakfast, Naga experienced another live blunder as she presented in the studio by herself whilst co-star Charlie was reporting from Ver-Sur-Mer in Normandy.
