's Carol Kirkwood told Naga Munchetty she was "shaking" during the broadcast. The 62-year-old weather presenter was beamed onto the big screen in the studio this Thursday (July 4), joining Naga and her co-host Charlie Stayt. The pair had been disscusing a young chess prodigy before switching to the day's forecast.

But it seems Naga, 49, couldn't resist linking Carol's forecast challenges to a strategic game of chess. She cheekily suggested: "Do you know that I often think that for Carol, there's a game of chess played here every day, it's like you're always trying to anticipate the next move, aren't you Carol?" Carol, feeling the pressure, agreed with Naga, saying: "Yes, trying to work out what's going to come my way Naga." Naga quipped back: "Exactly, always slightly unnerving, which is quite enjoyable sometimes," sparking a bit of banter between them.



"I'm standing here shaking in my shoes," Carol joked, prompting Naga to retort: "No you're not! " as they shared an awkward giggle, reports . Moving swiftly back to the weather, Naga, who also presents on Radio 5 Live, steered the conversation forward. She asked: "Gorgeous day behind you, from that picture but a mixed picture, is that fair?" Carol, ever the professional, was quick to confirm, "absolutely, right" before diving into her weather report.
