BBC Breakfast host Sally Nugent had an urgent question for Carol Kirkwood. It's clear Sally wasn't messing around on Wednesday (July 3) when she hosted the show with Jon Kay. She wanted to know what on earth was going on with the weather, and more specifically, where all the sun had gotten to.
It meant weather presenter Carol was put on the spot immediately when she appeared in the studio to deliver her forecast. Sally wasted no time at all in asking when the warmer weather will return when she welcomed Carol onto the programme. " She asked her co-star: "Morning, Carol, where is summer?" Carol and Sally burst out laughing before the meteorologist shared some rather disappointing news. "Hopefully around the corner, Sal, but not the next corner." She admitted: "Sal is quite right.
